Hello and welcome to my Blog! Today's video features a Double Triangle Fold card. In line with last week's card, this fun fold card creates another option for using larger image designer papers. The card making directions and dimensions are listed below.
View the "how-to" video here or click on the image below.
Supplies:
8 1/2" x 11" Kraft card stock
4" x 5 1/4" designer paper panel
18" ruler
Scissors
Cutting blade (optional)
Scoring Board and bone folder
Hampton Art Clear Stamps (for sentiment)
Circle(s) for sentiment
Card directions and dimensions:
One 8 1/2" x 11" piece of card stock will create 2 cards
Create the card base:
On an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of card stock, (card stock will be vertical) use a straight edge or ruler to draw a diagonal line from upper left corner to lower right corner to create two equal triangles.
Reposition ruler and use a cutting blade to go over pencil line (this step is optional)
Use scissors to cut along diagonal line
Place one of the triangles on a Scoring Board
Align the 8 1/2" side along the top of the Scoring Board and score at 4 1/4"
Align the 11 " side along the top and score at 5 1/2"
Fold in scored triangles, carefully aligning the tip of each triangle with the inside corners and reinforce the score lines using a bone folder.
This will create a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (A2) card.
Add patterned paper
Cut patterned paper 4" x 5 1/4" to decorate card front
Place patterned paper in a paper trimmer and cut diagonally so that the panel triangles will fit over and align to the card base triangles
Adhere patterned paper to each side of card front
Embellish with a sentiment (optional)
