Instructions & Supplies:

  • Cream card stock 8 1/2" x 11 for card base

    • Cut in half lengthwise to 4 1/4" x 11" (this will make two cards)

    • Score at 4 1/4" and 8 1/2" and reinforce score lines with a bone folder

  • Patterned papers for card front (Echo Park 6x6 paper pad - Gone Camping)

    • Cut 2 1/4" x 4" for top flap

    • Cut 4" x 4" for bottom flap

    • Adhere patterned paper to card front top and bottom flaps

  • Select a pre-printed image or stamp an image for fun fold feature

    • Use a punch or die that fits your selected image and cut it out

    • Align punch/die halfway and centered or offset on the 8 1/2" score line (this is the smaller flap at the top of the folded card)

    • Open up the card and die cut or close top flap and punch to make the fun fold opening

    • Cut a second punch or die cut using the same size previously used to make the fun fold opening

    • Close card to align the selected image to the bottom of the 4 1/4" flap using the fun fold opening as a guide. Only apply adhesive to bottom part of the image cut out and adhere to the 4 1/4" flap.

    • When the card is closed, the bottom image will fit through the upper (8 1/4" flap) to create the fun fold

  • "Rectangle Basics" dies by Memory Box

  • "Fishing" rubber stamps by Stampin' Up (inside card image and envelope images)

  • "Celebrate Life" clear stamps by Hampton Art (inside sentiment)

  • Memento "Rich Cocoa" ink

  • Fiskars paper trimmer

  • Sizzix Big Shot die cutting machine

  • Tonic Studios by Tim Holtz stamping platform

  • Martha Stewart Scoring Board

  • Silicone mat (my "go to" is a round, microwave silicone mat)

  • Ad tech Crafter's Tape permanent tape runner

  • Aleene's Tacky Glue
