Fun-fold Valentine Pocket Card

This is a really easy fun-fold card to make for any occasion, but it really worked well for this handmade Valentine's Day card. I've included a full list of supplies and instructions for you. See below.

Supplies & Dimensions: (see my YouTube video for how to put this card together)
Fun-fold Pocket Card
(makes two 4“ x 5 ½” cards)
Supplies:
· 12” x 12” double-sided heavy weight paper
· Contrasting paper for mat
· Solid paper for mat
· Sentiment stamp
· Die cuts or other embellishments
· Ribbon
· Die cutting machine, if needed for embellishment
· Scoring Board and bone folder
· Paper cutter or scissors
· Circle hole punch
· Ink
· Adhesive
Instructions:
· Cut 12” x 12” paper at 6” (pay attention to orientation if paper has a distinct pattern)
· Score one of the 6” x 12”pieces, starting at the top of the 12” long edge
o Score at 4” and 8“
o Turn the paper 90 degrees and score along long length at ½”
o Open pocket card and cut diagonally from inner-most, center score line to outer-most, bottom edge
o Cut along both sides of the bottom edge ½” scoreline, from tip to center, leaving the center, bottom section uncut to create the bottom flap of the pocket
o Fold up the bottom, center flap along scoreline
o Fold in each outside triangle along scoreline(s)
o Adhere the bottom of side triangle flaps to bottom ½” flap
o Adhere one side triangle flap to the other side triangle flap along one diagonal edge to create the pocket
o Embellish outside of pocket card
o Adhere solid mat to patterned mat and stamp a sentiment
o Punch a hole in the top/center of mat(s)
o Add a ribbon through the hole
o Sentiment mat will slide in and out of the pocket card
