Graduation card - video tutorial

Hello and welcome to my Blog! Today I will be demonstrating how to make a quick and simple Graduation card. I am working with a new-to-me Graduation die and I am over the moon with the results! The die is the star of the show today, so I wanted to keep the rest of the card front understated and let the focus remain on the intricacies of the die cut and the embossed background.

Supplies:

  • White card base 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and white envelope

    • Yellow mat 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"

    • White mat 4" x 5 1/4"

  • "Graduation" die (bought on Amazon; unknown manufacturer)

  • "Graduation Sentiments" clear stamps by Jenncraft (bought on Amazon)

  • "Graduation" embossing folder by Parklane

  • Sizzix Texture Boutique

  • Sizzix Big Shot die cutting machine

  • Spellbinders Tool 'n One

  • Mini Misti stamping platform

  • Versafine Black ink

  • Watercolor pencils and water brush

  • Silicone mat (I use a round, microwave silicone mat found in kitchen sections)

  • Westcott Carbo Titanium Non-stick scissors

  • Foam tape

  • Ad tech Crafter's Tape permanent tape runner

  • Aleene's Tacky Glue
