Hello there! Listen, the Pandemic might have slowed down a lot of things, but some blessings just keep on coming! I'm talking about babies! Not much can stop these little people from making their debut when they are ready, so I've been busy creating a few cards to celebrate these joyous occasions.

These 4.25' x 5.5" Flip-It cards are great little interactive cards that literally "flip" the center image as the card is opened/closed. The #Sizzix Square Flip-Its dies (559175) were used to create the card, the center square and the coordinating borders. These adorable papers are from the #Pebbles Lullaby Paper Pad. I always add an additional panel on the right hand side of my Flip-It cards so that a message can be written inside the card rather than on the flip side of the center square.

Instructions for making the card:
Start with a 6" x 9" piece of white card stock for the base of the card.
To add a hidden panel to the right side of the card, lay the Flip-It die on top of the paper aligning it with three sides of die edges then score along the inside of the widest end of the die. Fold along the score line.

Next, place the die over the folded flap; folded end facing up.
Line up the die with the folded end just "inside" the wide part of the die. Run your fingernail along the die and the folded edge of the paper to ensure the edge lies within the die (you don't want to cut through your hidden panel).

Run the paper and die through your die cutting machine. Open the hidden panel and cut off any excess paper so the card closes smoothly.
Fold card along original score lines by folding the card in half and then folding front panel back to the left.
Add decorative die cuts for the panels and the Square Flip-It part.

Below are a few more baby cards using the Square Flip-Its die with the additional hidden panel.
