Scrappy Trees - using up those Christmas paper scraps

Too many paper scraps? You are not alone! Why do we keep all those scraps of paper? I don't have an answer, but I do have an idea to help use up some of those scraps of Christmas paper. Follow along as I show you a few ideas for using those paper scraps to make this cute little Christmas Trees card.

Supplies & Dimensions: (see my YouTube video for how to put this card together)

  • Card base 5 " x 6 1/2"

  • Green mat 4 7/8" x 6 3/8"

  • Cream mat 4 1/2" x 6"

  • "Fancy Tree" die set (Spellbinders S2-236)

  • "Merry Christmas" die set (Ellentina)

  • "Leafy" embossing folder (Cuttlebug)

  • Star punch

  • Double sided adhesive (Creek Bank Creations)

  • Various scraps of paper - cut into 3/4" wide strips

  • Foam tape

  • Fiskars paper trimmer

  • Sizzix Big Shot die cutting machine

  • Aleene's tacky glue
