Z Fold Cardinal Card - video tutorial

Hello and welcome to my Blog! Today I will be showing you how to make a simple, interactive Z Fold card featuring a beautiful #FeatheredCardinal perched on a woodgrain birdhouse. The 5" x 7" card is made with tone-on-tone background papers so that the cardinal and birdhouse really stand out. Follow along with the step-by-step video tutorial.

Supplies:

  • 7" x 10" cardstock for card base (score at 5" & at 2 1/2" to make a 5" x 7" Z fold card)

  • 2 1/4" x 6 3/4" patterned paper mat for Z fold flap

  • 4 3/4" x 6 3/4" patterned paper mat for right side / inside card

  • 2 1/4" x 6 1/2" gray mat for sentiment strip

  • 2 1/8" x 6 3/8" white mat for sentiment strip

  • Sizzix "Feathered Cardinal" dies by Tim Holtz (664804)

  • Sizzix "Spring Greenery" dies by Tim Holtz (659573)

  • Sizzix Big Shot

  • Cricut Cheerful Seasons birdhouse and layers cut at 5"

  • Elizabeth Craft Designs "Thru the Lens Wood Series" paper for birdhouse

  • Stampabilities "Some People" clear stamp for inside sentiment

  • Coordinating, lined envelope
