Baby Name Banners - video tutorial

Hello and welcome to my Blog! Today I will be showing you how to make name banners with realistic looking flowers. I used my Cricut to create the banners and flowers for a baby shower for twins! These banners were designed to decorate a large shower gift but they could be used later for the nursery or for photo sessions and even birthday parties! Follow along with the step-by-step video tutorial below.

Supplies:

  • Kraft cardstock for banner with letters (Cricut "Tiny Treasures" 3D Monogram cut @ 3 1/2")

  • Cream cardstock for banner background (Cricut " " cut @ 3 3/4")

  • Floral patterned paper used behind cut out letters

  • Polka dot patterned paper used behind cut out letters

  • Jute twine

  • Cricut "Home Decor" flowers

    • Dark coral cut at 3"

    • Light coral cut at 4"

    • Mixed dark/light cut at 2 1/2"

    • Cream for centers

    • Red ink

      • Provo Craft "Swiss Dots" embossing folder (for cream flower centers)

  • Sizzix "Texture Boutique" embossing machine
